Terms of Service
The agreement between you and us when you book a car through this site.
Last updated August 14, 2026
These terms are between you and Vertix LLM (“Vertixia Rental”, “we”, “us”), of Baguio, Benguet 2600. By creating an account or making a booking you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use the service.
A separate rental agreement is signed when you collect a vehicle. Where that document and these terms disagree about a specific rental, the signed rental agreement governs.
Who can rent
- You must be at least 21 years old and hold a driver’s licence valid for the whole rental period.
- You must present that licence, and the identification we asked for, when you collect the vehicle. We cannot hand over a vehicle without it, and a booking that fails this check is treated as a no-show.
- Only the named renter, and any additional drivers we have approved in writing, may drive the vehicle.
Your account
Keep your password to yourself, and tell us promptly if you think someone else has got into your account. You are responsible for bookings made from it. Give us accurate details — a booking made with a false name, licence or contact number can be cancelled without refund.
Booking and payment
- A booking is confirmed when we accept it and your downpayment has gone through. Until then a vehicle is not held for you.
- 10% of the rental total is payable to hold the car. The balance is due when you collect it.
- We accept card, GCash and Maya. Prices are in Philippine pesos.
- We may also ask for a refundable security deposit at pick-up, which is returned after the vehicle comes back in the condition described below.
- Extra charges — fuel, cleaning, late return, damage, traffic fines — are billed after the rental, and we will itemise them.
Changing or cancelling
- Cancel at any time before your pick-up day and the 10% downpayment is returned in full.
- Once a vehicle has been collected, the rental can no longer be cancelled through the website. Call us and we will close it off as an early return.
- To extend a rental in progress, contact us before your return time. Extensions depend on whether the vehicle is already booked after you.
- If we have to cancel — a breakdown, an accident involving the vehicle before your rental, or anything else outside our control — we will offer a comparable vehicle or refund you in full. That refund is the limit of what we owe you for a cancellation of this kind.
How the vehicle comes back
These rules are shown before you book and again at checkout, and they are the same ones our staff apply at return:
- Full-to-full fuel. The car is handed over with a full tank and comes back with one. Missing fuel is charged at pump price plus a ₱300 refuelling run.
- Return it washed. It leaves clean, inside and out, and comes back the same way. A ₱500 wash fee applies otherwise.
- Damage-free return. We walk around the car together at pick-up and again at return. New dents, scratches or interior damage are yours up to the insurance excess.
- No smoking, no vaping. In any of the cars. If the cabin says otherwise, a ₱2,500 deep-clean fee does too.
- Return on time. One hour of grace after your return time, then ₱500 per hour. Past four hours it counts as another full day.
- Cancel freely. Call it off any time before pick-up day and the 10% downpayment comes straight back.
Using the vehicle
You agree not to:
- Drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs;
- Use the vehicle for racing, towing, driving instruction, or off-road;
- Carry passengers or goods for hire, unless we have agreed in writing;
- Take the vehicle outside the areas agreed at booking, including by ferry;
- Sub-let the vehicle, or let an unapproved driver drive it; or
- Use it for anything unlawful.
Breaking these voids any damage waiver, makes you responsible for the full cost of loss or damage, and entitles us to recover the vehicle.
Tracking
Vehicles report their location to us while a rental is in progress. This is for fleet safety, recovery and supporting you on the road. It stops when the rental ends. See the Privacy Policy for what we do with that data.
Damage, loss and fines
- We inspect the vehicle with you at pick-up and again at return, and record its condition both times.
- You are responsible for damage occurring during your rental up to the insurance excess for that vehicle — ₱10,000 to ₱50,000 depending on the model, with the exact figure for your rental set out in the rental agreement you sign at pick-up — and for the full amount where a term above has been broken.
- Traffic violations, toll charges and parking fines during your rental are yours, along with a ₱250 handling fee for each one we have to process.
- Report any accident, theft or breakdown to us and to the police immediately.
Our responsibility
We will supply a roadworthy, registered and insured vehicle, and maintain our fleet properly. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited — including your rights under the Consumer Act of the Philippines.
Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — missed flights, lost earnings, or onward travel costs — and our total liability for any rental is limited to the amount you paid for it.
Suspending an account
We may refuse a booking or close an account where these terms have been broken, where a payment has failed or been reversed, or where we reasonably believe the account is being used fraudulently. Money owed for a rental already taken remains payable.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page changes when we do. Bookings already confirmed are governed by the terms in force when you made them.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, and the courts of Baguio City have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
